Sharon L. Wigton

	Sharon L. Wigton, 71, of Oberlin, Ohio, died Monday, April 28, 2003 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, Ohio, following a brief illness.  
	She was born June 19, 1931 in Du Quoin, the daughter of Lem and Nell Hill Womack.  She attended Du Quoin High School and in 1949 was Illinois State Champion Baton Twirler.  She graduated from Southern Illinois University.
	Mrs. Wigton was employed for 28 years at the former Gilford Instrument Laboratories in Oberlin, retiring in 1992 as International Export Manager.
	After retiring, she enjoyed traveling in her RV with her shitzu dog to 48 of 50 states.  Mrs. Wigton was a member of the RV organization's SKP's and Loners on Wheels.  She attended Christ Episcopal Church, Oberlin, Ohio.
	Her parents preceded her in death.  Survivors include her sons, William (Chip) Wigton of Oberlin, Todd L. Wigton of Amherst, Ohio and David Peters of Williamson, Georgia; daughter, Amy E. Wigton of San Francisco, California and two grandchildren.
	A memorial service was held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the home of Nancy Yood, 355 Edgemeer Place, Oberlin.  Private burial was later.  Cowing Funeral Home, Oberlin, handled the arrangements.
